Headstart Program
I often teach the material of a course to a student before he or she takes that course in school. This leads to the student doing much better in the course, since they are already familiar with the concepts. This allows students to dedicate more time to focusing on the more challenging concepts.
Almost every student that has been part of it has ended up with over 90% in the course. They feel much more confident in class and can answer most of the teacher's questions.
Online Tutoring
Apart from offering in-person tutoring (where students come to our location in Brampton), I also offer online tutoring to students that might prefer online sessions. My online sessions are administered via Zoom, allowing screen sharing.
I use a Surface Pro tablet along with OneNote to annotate when I'm teaching online. I share resources such as handouts, assignments, quizzes, and tests with my students through Google Drive.
